What We Do
Our Classes
At Valentino Ribecco Fitness we take an open-minded approach to training and incorporate a variety of techniques. Speed, strength, flexibility, agility, and awareness are some of the many traits that students will develop during class.
All classes are taught by Master Instructor Valentino Ribecco and are structured in traditional Korean format to build and cultivate focus, discipline and respect.
What is Hap Ki Do
Our classes are based on the Korean Martial Art of Hap Ki Do. Master Valentino has been a practitioner, demonstrator and teacher of this method for over 40 years.
Hapkido is a well-rounded art involving kicking, punching, striking, rolling, break falls, joint manipulation, grappling and throwing. It also requires physical conditioning, mental focus and the cultivation of inner energy (Ki).
“Ki” and "mind over matter" training consists of breathing and isometric exercises designed to help students cultivate “ki” flow, inner strength and focus to assist and enhance defensive technique in times of need.
Master Valentino's training, certification and martial arts lineage can be traced back to the founder of Hapkido "Grand Master Choi Yong Sul".
